Hazelden Betty Ford seeks to understand the biological effects of drug and alcohol abuse on the developing brains of young adults while also addressing environmental factors, like family history and social pressures.
The centre offers specialised care for teens young adults between the ages of 12 and 25. They also have a children’s program, for kids between the ages of 7 and 12 who are growing up in a family that deals with addiction, as well as a family program, for patients’ family members aged 13 and older.
