Cake through your letterbox with Baker Days

baker days review

Sharing is caring!

Who doesn’t love cake?  It’s the perfect gift, and now it can be delivered straight to your door intact.  I was thrilled when Baker Days asked me to review their letterbox cake and with Valentine’s Day approaching, I chose a sweet treat for my sweetheart (mush alert).  What’s more, it can be personalised with your text, photos and, more importantly your favourite flavour.  It absolutely had to be chocolate cake for me, I added some personalised text and awaited my cake.  It was so exciting when I got the little white box, with a cute tin inside and some love heart sweets, balloons and candles.

cake competition

I was very pleased with the results, it was exactly how it appeared on the website.  There are so many options to choose from, they have every occasion covered and even do emoji cakes!  You can follow them on twitter and Facebook for offers and more.

chocolate-cake-win

My daughter was jumping for joy when we got it she was so excited, she loved the sweets of course, and couldn’t wait to try some, but I made her wait while I took pictures, and of course it was supposed to be Daddy’s cake – he did get some of it!

cake to win

All too soon my cake-in-a-box was gone and only crumbs remained… sad times.

Now, most importantly, here’s your chance to WIN your very own 5″ letterbox cake in the post from Baker Days.   Open to the UK and Ireland.  Enter via the Rafflecopter widget below, competition ends 07/2/16 at midnight.  Good luck!

My cake would be making it’s way to my gorgeous friend Aly who has been SUCH a help and support to me throughout my pregnancy, even when she’s got all her own stuff to deal with. She’s waiting to hear news of a big operation she’s due to have shortly, so this might be just the thing to cheer her up! Looks delicious! Hopefully she’ll invite me over for a slice and a cuppa!
