For Phoebe’s birthday I didn’t have the time or the inclination to make an amazing cake from scratch, and she quite likes to look at and buy the cakes from supermarkets. The kids like to browse them sometimes when we go shopping together and pick out their current favourite. She chose a shopkins cake that was well worth the £10 I spent. I also wanted to do some cupcakes that were a little bit different, and that would be special to her. She loves all things unicorn, as do I, and I found this unicorn cupcake decorating kit on Amazon:
When it came in the post it was so beautifully packaged and it had a note in it from Baking Time Club inviting me to a 10% discount. I discovered their shop and all the heavenly things on there. The unicorn cupcakes went down a treat and it was easy to make some cheap supermarket cupcakes look extra special.

The rainbow tail on the unicorns was extra special. I’ve bookmarked the website now and I’m also a fan of their Facebook page – there’s always something pretty and yummy on their feed. I sent them a message and they offered me to review their sprinkles subscription box, which I was only to glad to do. They start from £5 for 2 exclusive sprinkles packets per month, which is what I received. When they came in the post, there was the same care and attention to detail. The beautiful sprinkles were a provider of joy to the family, and what better way to enjoy them than with a bowl of ice cream or three – that’s one each for the children, not all three for me – honest!

The best part is they have authorised me to give you, my lovely readers your own 10% discount. All you do is enter my code MidwifeLife10 at the checkout when you make a purchase on their official website. They have baking accessories for all occasions and lots of useful tips.
Enjoy baking (or just accessorising, like me) x

Disclosure: I received the subscription box for this review, however I bought the unicorn kit myself.
Thank you for reading - if you enjoyed this content, please consider buying me a coffee here or browse my Amazon wishlist I really appreciate your support and it helps to keep the site running and for my time 🙂
