A Neutral Home Is Now A Classic Style?

Disclosure: collaborative post

My how the dining tables have turned! The neutral style that dominated for so long is now being treated as a classic style! Not classic in the truest sense as in the classic style itself. But, it’s now a little retro and you know how everyone likes to live in nostalgia!? This is why the neutral style is something that can have it’s hay day even after it’s hay day has passed. Many homeowners would like to know how they can implement this style without it becoming too dominant. This is because it’s very easy to suddenly have a neutral-heavy home that is very balanced and almost too rigid. So we have made it easy for you.

Patterns are exciting

When you are trying to explore the neutral home, you will start to believe that the style might be too boring and bland. Well, you’re wrong because the neutral style dares you to challenge yourself. Decorating with patterns and themes is the best way to love your living room. Try mixing patterns for your sofa cushions, with a triangle pattern along with a chequered pattern. These can be in black, white, grey, silver, dark brown as well as beige and cream. Mix and match, try different styles and patterns. Of course, you can try linen, cotton, polyester and wool for different materials. Each material gives your cushions a different look because light bounces off these materials in unique ways.

Going back to black

Black is a very difficult color to implement correctly. Once again, neutral colors can become too boring and not very outgoing. However, the beauty of the neutral style is, it forces you to think outside the box and challenge your home design style. These black dining tables don’t require much effort to integrate because of how chic and modern they are. The Urban Deco Rimini table is absolutely sublime. It looks like an island and this allows for a lot of room around the sides. With one strong support in the center, you can sit around the table without any fuss of flipping the table one side of the other, despite how slim it is.

The end all

We would not be giving you the right information about how to style your home in the neutral style, if we didn’t tell you how to implement a neutral sofa! The neutral sofa is like the crown in your kingdom. The white neutral ‘Oliver’ sofa is the holy grail because it’s so modern and so open. We mean ‘open’ in terms of how complimentary it is to other items around the room. The white sofa is not as dominant as you might think. We think it should be in a pebble white, and unless you want a very strong sofa, don’t go with ghost white.

A neutral home is something that has become a classic choice. It’s now, more for the discernable interior design enthusiast. It’s modern, chic and yet, it’s also very seasoned in the world of home themes and style.
