As some of you know, it’s Phoebe’s birthday coming up, and what better timing to be asked to review this new type of greeting card for children. They’re called Augmented Reality Greetings Cards from Hatch Cards. They look like normal birthday cards, but instead of getting a cursory glance and being chucked to one side, these can be interacted with again and again!
This is an example of some of their designs, I chose the fairy one for Phoebe, the penguin for Daniel and the alien for William. They each have their own way of coming to life – the fun part! You need to download the Zappar app, which is free and available on apple or android devices. Then you can use your phone to scan the zapcode, which I found really easy, you just wave the phone over it and it immediately starts.
They’re such great fun! I know Phoebe is going to love hers and William will be excited when he gets his in August. Now, here’s your chance to win a set of 6 of your own Hatch cards!! Depending on how many children you have and how many friends they have, that’ll keep you going for a while. They’ve also got a competition running on their Facebook page, so double the chance to win – go, go go! If you can’t wait to try them, there are a range of designs available to buy and at £2.99 each, I think they’re really good value considering what you can do with them. Enter via the rafflecopter widget below, open to UK residents only, closes midnight 28/3/2016. One winner receives 6 cards.
