I’m really hoping that we will be able to go somewhere other than Tesco, work and walking the dog soon. I can see the end in sight so let’s focus on something close to my heart – fashion and style. As we’re going into a new season, it’s often a time for a wardrobe refresh. I’ve lost a bit of weight over the last few months, so some of my clothes don’t fit as well and it’s a good excuse for some new clothes.

Red ribbed off the shoulder crop top
I’m being brave here in exposing my midriff, but I feel more comfortable than ever in my body. Finally, in my 40s I’m happy with my body, but I know I looked ten times better in my 20s. I love the colour of this top and the off the shoulder look is very flattering.
Black Hook & Eye Front Corset Crop Top
It says crop top but it’s not what I would describe as a crop top because of the V down the front. It has hook and eye fastenings but not all the way down so you can still pull it over your head. It’s very flattering for the bust area as it pushes the boobs up and holds them in place. I’ve paired it with a jacket because I feel a bit naked without one, but maybe on holiday I’d wear it without. It definitely made me feel sexy and my husband likes it – he’s not sure I should wear it on a girls night though…
Nude Square Neck Ruched Bodycon Mini Dress
One for a night out when we get there! I feel great in this dress – if you’re a sex and the city fan, you may remember ‘The naked dress’ that Carrie Bradshaw wore to a photoshoot and then went and seduced Mr Big. Well, this is the equivalent dress. My husband’s eyes nearly popped out when I tried it on for him, which I think you’ll agree with me means it has the desired effect. We’ll be taking it out for a spin at the earliest opportunity. I think I need some new shoes to go with it. What do you think, nude colour shoes? Ah, shopping my old friend, soon we will be reunited.
