It’s almost the season for Blood Orange, so called for it’s blood like flesh colour. It depends on the variety, but generally the season runs from December to May. This intensely coloured orange has a more intense, sweet flavour and aroma than the classic orange. It’s high in antioxidants and vitamin C, perfect for a boost over winter. It’s popular at Christmas time and can be dried to make eye-catching natural looking decorations. I have collected together 17 fantastic recipes to make with this versatile fruit to keep in one place. Enjoy!
