Well, 2020 was quite the year. And though we are seeing 2021 as a light at the end of the tunnel, we are still dealing with some of the major changes from last year. And one of the biggest ones we are still adjusting to is working from home. We know that it hasn’t been easy, and that it has been a difficult road. So much so that you may have let your health and well-being go to the wayside. If that is the case (even if it isn’t there is always room for improvement), we have a few healthy habit ideas to help you get back to you while you are working remotely.
Allow yourself to relax
With all these changes and constant adjustments, you may realize you aren’t getting the proper rest and relaxation that your body is craving and needs to keep going. So, how can you change that? Well, by using an organic CBD tincture, you can finally get that relaxation you deserve after a long day spent on the computer and video conference calls. CBD oil tinctures are consumed orally, which means they work quickly to get you relaxing and de-stressing. Plus, if you have never used any CBD products this is a great one to start with as it is mild and dosing is easily manageable.
Leave the house
Yes, it really is that simple. Just leave your house. Of course, we don’t want you to break any rules or restrictions, but at least walking out of your front door can really change your mood. Letting some sunshine on your skin can change how you feel and make you feel brand new. Just be sure to protect your skin though, especially if it hasn’t seen the sun for quite some time. Almost 60% of people said they experienced feelings of loneliness ever since they started working remotely. Mental health can become a real issue once lonliness sets in. If you find this is happening to you, look to speak to a professional – a 15% discount code could make it even more accessible for you.
Listen to your body

If you are sitting down at your desk most of the day and then walk to your couch to sit down once you are off work, your body most likely isn’t happy with you. We know that working remotely is exhausting, but something that can help is listening to your body. If it is craving movement, do it. Get out for a walk or a bike ride, eat a healthy snack, pop on a free YouTube workout video, or do a workout of your own. But, whatever you do, do your best to get moving. You can even do a short version of this on your breaks to get you re-energized and through your day. Your body will thank you, and it can make working from home a little more enjoyable.

Even with perfect eyesight, staring at the computer screen all day can be extremely detrimental to your eyes. Using blue light blocking glasses when you are working on the computer or on your phone can be a gamechanger. So, if you haven’t adopted this healthy habit yet, we think it is time you do so. They can help to block out those harmful rays, and keep your eyes feeling strong instead of drained and strained.
Meal plan
We know how easy it is to just get food delivered to your home nowadays, but don’t fall victim to its convenience. Try your best at the start of the week to plan out your meals for during, and even after, work. This will not only save you a pretty penny, but it will also help to keep you healthy and feeling good. Plus, it is a good way to get the whole family back into a healthier lifestyle.
Though working remotely hasn’t been easy, we know that you are capable of making it the best it can be. Don’t be afraid to try new things and see what works best for you and your health. You got this.
