This will be the star phrase on the night of October 31 to November 1, All Saints’ Day. Decades ago. Nowadays it is known as Halloween, a day where you dress up and eat food that you do not usually eat. And if you are fortunate (or unfortunate), you will be in charge of the Halloween festivities.

As an organizer, you may not be interested in this Anglo-Saxon holiday, but throw a good party with some tasty food and your name will be remembered as the one to beat. If you’re lucky next time you won’t have to do it!

What kind of event can you organize to celebrate Halloween? Here are some terrifying options.

1. Ghost walk

No matter what city you are in, surely there is an area, street, or building that houses horror stories and ghostly legends.

Organize an event where attendees discover the stories from the hand of a professional guide dressed to provoke the best fears. Or dress up yourself and tell spooky tales.

2. Mexican holiday of the Day of the Dead

The Day of the Dead is one of the most important popular festivals in Mexico. With this celebration, the deceased are honored with colorful costumes, skull or Catrina masks, food, and drink. A party where the festivities of Mexico are recreated is considered a cultural event, so mix fun, history, and curiosities to have your attendees dancing on Halloween night.

3. Solve the murder

A different event that can attract attendees is to organize a dinner where diners have to solve a murder, of course, disguised!

Give them the option of purchasing a party kit that includes a script, characters, and a costume. Each one must develop their role over dinner and discover who the murderer is who aspires not to be discovered at this Halloween party.
