7 Rides You Have To Go On At Disneyland Paris

7 Rides You Have To Go On At Disneyland Paris

A trip to Disneyland is on pretty much every child’s wish list (and more than a few grown ups too!). I went to Disneyland Los Angeles when I was 16 and I’d love to take my family to Disneyland Paris. This year marks the 25th anniversary of the opening of Disneyland Paris, so it may well be the perfect time to treat the whole family to a holiday they will never forget. With so many celebrations going on, it’s going to feel so magical and you’re bound to get caught up in the magic and festivities.

Whether you’ve been many times before or this is your first time, I thought it would be a good opportunity to take a look at some of the best Disneyland Paris rides. If this doesn’t get you excited about coming here, I don’t know what will!

#1 Pirates of the Caribbean

Not many successful film series have been based on theme park rides, but this shows you just how good Pirates of the Caribbean is. You board a ship that takes you through a world of pirates complete with swashbuckling songs and adventure. Though things seem to be going along fairly peacefully, there is a pretty big drop somewhere along the way that means you may end up getting wet!

#2 Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril

This time the ride has been based on the film, capturing all the thrills of the legendary hero. It’s an epic rollercoaster that is pretty exciting as you whizz along many sharp corners and dips. Bigger kids especially will enjoy this one.

#3 Big Thunder Mountain

Another one that has been around for a long time, Big Thunder Mountain is the classic runaway train through the Old West. It’s a fantastic rollercoaster that is great for all the family.

#4 Crush’s Coaster

A really amazing rollercoaster – particularly if your kids are fans of the Finding Nemo and Finding Dory movies. This ride is based around the laid-back turtle and gives you an incredible visual experience as you shoot through an underwater paradise.

#5 Space Mountain, Mission 2

This one should be for adrenaline seeking adults and bigger kids only. Set in the dark and designed to make you feel like you have been launched into outer space, this ride is truly out of this world (sorry, I couldn’t resist!).

#6 Star Tours

If your kids are just discovering Star Wars after the release of the new movies, this one will be perfect for them. It’s a virtual reality simulator that will take you on another outer space journey. Unlike Space Mountain, you won’t be hurtling along at rapid speeds but you’ll feel like you are!

#7 Disney Dreams

Okay, it’s not really a ride but if you’re making a trip over to Disneyland Paris you shouldn’t miss out on this nighttime spectacular featuring lights, lasers and fountains. And as it’s the 25th anniversary, it’s more than likely that there will be plenty of firework displays which will cap off a truly magical holiday.

All of these and plenty more will be here waiting for you at Disneyland Paris.
