Inside my Goody bag from My 1st years

Sharing is caring!

Hi everyone!  So, what was inside the goody bag I was given from the press event?  I was excited to find out.  Firstly, there was a magazine called baby London where the company had been featured, there were also lots of interesting bits in it and discount codes.

Next was a rather futuristic looking teether from como tomo but one I can see coming in very handy for Baby D as he’s teething and loves putting everything in his mouth.  I also saw someone at the event who had one and had attached it to her baby carrier with a string – an excellent idea I may steal!

I was very happy to receive some coconut oil from Vita Coco, I’ve been hankering after some of the stuff for ages, it seems to be the oil of the moment and promises great things – anyone got any tips for using it?  So far it’s still unused!  There was also a lovely surprise from one of my favourite make up companies Benefit – they are always so innovative with their packaging.  I’m not quite sure what they were trying to tell us Mums about how tired we look, but anything to reduce puffiness around the eyes has to be a good thing!

I opened the amusingly titled Puff Off! cream and it even has a little mini iron to dispense your eye cream – so far I still look like I could use a bit more sleep but I think it’ll take more than a magic potion to sort that one out!  I will keep using it and see what happens.

I’m well into the weaning journey with Baby D and I’m always happy for inspiration although we tend to give him whatever we are eating, It’s nice to have a recipe book for the children and Phoebe has her eye on the farmyard cupcakes already – thanks Annabel Karmel.

There was also a code to download the Annabel Karmel app, a fitness voucher from bumps & burpees (great name), a skin consultation voucher with a sample sachet, the My 1st years catalogue,  the little Butterfly catalogue and a sample of their organic nappy cream.

I also kept my badge from the day, it’s the first time I had it in print that I’m a blogger and it still makes me smile to look at it…
