Transitioning to pull up nappies with Asda little angels pull ups

I’ve tried just about every nappy there is on the market over the years, I’ve even written an ultimate nappy guide. We’ve used cloth nappies, compostable nappies and eco nappies, but you can’t beat the convenience of disposables or ‘sposies’ as some people call them. Daniel is and always has been a wriggler, when he does a poo now, it’s often a double team affair and I have to give him a distraction so that he’ll lie still, even then it’s touch and go. His favourite nappy change game is running off and saying ‘wee wee’ and then hovering over the potty before weeing on the carpet. I’ve started to use pull-ups more and more now in an effort to save my carpet, they’re easier to get on when we need a quick change. Daniel loves the Peppa pig design of the Asda pull ups, he points to them and says ‘Pig!’ I blame Phoebe for introducing him to that annoying yet accurate porcine family.

They’re proving just as absorbent as the regular nappies and he feels more grown up in them I think. The only trouble is, he can pull them down! A couple of times I’ve caught him waddling around with his pants and trousers round his ankles! He’s so funny! He doesn’t tend to poo at night, so they’re fine at night too, I’ve not had a problem. They’re just as absorbent as the regular nappies. To take them off you just rip the sides or pull them down. I like the fact that the front and back are clearly defined, idiot proof – it even says ‘back’ on the back. He now helps me during changes and steps into them. He’s growing up fast and saying new words every day (sniff!).
