Autumn maternity fashion using GOTS certified organic cotton

This is a maternity fashion guide with a twist – all the clothes featured use GOTS certified organic cotton. What the hell is GOTS certified organic cotton? Well, GOTS stands for Global Organic Textile Standards and it is the leading standard for textiles made from organic fibres worldwide. It shows that those who are GOTS certified are committed to the highest level in environmental and social standards.

Why organic cotton?

It’s pure, gentle, and super soft. It feels this way because the fibres are left intact and not broken down by the chemicals used in the farming and processing of conventional cotton. It’s much kinder to babies and young children’s delicate skin. Perfect for breastfeeding and sensitive pregnancy skin. There are no harmful chemicals or dangerous dyes used, so organic cotton is less likely to trigger allergies. Organic cotton is also more durable and lasts so much longer enabling you to hand it down for generations.
