What do children’s multivitamins really taste like?

Gone are the days when multivitamins were huge pills or nasty tasting drops. Once you’re out of the baby phase the kids can get their daily dose of vitamins from something more palatable. There’s no substitute for a healthy balanced diet of course, but I feel more relaxed when I know they’ve had their vitamins.

Today we’re looking at Bassetts Vitamins Omega-3 + Multivitamins Orange Flavour Pastilles for 3-6 year olds. The children were challenged to draw the flavours they were experiencing when they ate the vitamins. This is what they came up with. It’s black and white because, well we have a colouring pen shortage and I’m reserving the good ones for school.

Orange is obviously the predominant flavour for them, second came sweetness. My son could taste a hint of apple in there and other fruity flavours. It also reminded them of sunshine and being healthy.

Why take children’s multivitamins?

Let’s take a look at a breakdown of what the multivitamins give you. Each pastille contains vitamin B6 to support normal psychological function and Vitamin B5 which contributes to mental performance to support a smart way to start the day.

It’s great to find something like this that the kids will actually eat isn’t it? 🙂
