One of my new years blog goals was to get more organised. Let’s just say I’m getting there but could do better. I’m often doing ok, the list gets shorter, but then ten more things go on it! I tried printing out some planner inserts, I got a filofax, but I still go back to the old fashioned list in a notebook scenario. This gets pretty messy, and every few days I need to rewrite the list. I star all my emails I need to respond to and then go through them. I save links on Facebook too. Don’t get me started on Pinterest!
Toad Diaries offered me a Blogger Journal to review, which I was very excited about. #1, I love stationery in all its forms, and #2, the chance to get organised again. Toad Diaries are a UK company based in Huddersfield and they make personal and business diaries in a variety of formats.

It’s set out a bit like a bullet journal, you have space at the beginning to put in your Blog Vital Information, followed by Blog Statistics with several dates you can put in, more than a year if you put them in once a month.

You then have a couple of pages to put in your contacts in hard copy form. The diary section consists of each page in the spread giving you any date to input, meaning you can start from any date you like so I could use it straight away. You have space for top priority goals which is a nice prod in the right direction for me because I tend to assign myself too much to do, and then get frustrated when I can’t complete it all. Then you have a list of ‘To do Today.’ My writing is a little chunky so the spaces could be bigger, I like the fact that you have a checklist to tick off. The other side of the page is for notes and creativity, I love this because I’m always jotting down ideas that may or may not come to fruition. This page is bullet style so you could change it up a bit.

At the very end of the journal there’s a couple of yellow notes pages for extra scribbles. My only criticism would be I need more colour! The front cover is black and white, the inside back covers have colourful quotes on but the rest is all black and white. I’d love to see a few illustrations, even in black and white. On the whole though, it’s a useful journal which I’ll be using to jot down my thoughts and keep my daily goals in check. The front and back cover are frosted plastic covers to protect the journal.

Disclosure: I was gifted the journal in return for my open and honest review
