We could all use a bit of help right now with our finances, including myself. Everything just seems more expensive, but kids still need new shoes, so we can’t cut all our spending. One way to save money is by looking for the best deals and prices when you are online shopping. Slash.com offers an easy way to get a discount voucher applied directly when you are shopping without any voucher codes (they never work anyway) or links to remember.
How Slash works to give you money off
You need to sign up with slash via their website, then use the chrome extension or choose the one for your browser. Then when you visit your chosen store your slash discount will show up. You will need to add a bank card to your slash account for the discount to work. It was really easy for me to set up and you can easily see the savings you are making. There is also the potential to earn bonuses through referring friends. My referral link gives you a £10 bonus and I also get a £10 bonus which you can then use to discount your shopping. You can use slash in the following stores:
- Alexandra sports

With more to come, so keep checking back if there’s a store you don’t see. There are several of my favourite home and clothes stores there so I shopped via Dunelm Mill. You can see below if you hover over the slash logo next to the total you will see the amount you will save and the final price. Then, when you checkout, you checkout via slash, and the discount is completed. You get your goods as usual.

The team behind slash is on hand should you need help, they are quick to reply and are real human beings! I always think that is important when you are thinking about signing up for something. One thing to be aware of, when you link your bank account you will see a £1 charge, that is refunded back to you and it’s for verification purposes only. I found it all easy to use and a good way of getting discounts on things you would normally buy. If you sign up with my referral link, you get a £10 bonus and I also get £10 – thank you if you do it, everything helps to go back into the running of the website.
