Stop Press! Special offer coming on the 5th December!! This Saturday is Small business Saturday and Ecoegg have an amzing offer they are revealing on Saturday – I’m sworn to secrecy but trust me it is worth hanging on and grabbing a bargain, in fact they are saying do not buy until 5th December because it’s such a good offer. Have a look at their eco-friendly products and bookmark the ones you want until then.
For those of you who follow my blog, you may remember my review of the Ecoegg laundry egg. They also do a lot of other eco-friendly cleaning products and they have kindly sent me their multi-purpose cleaning spray and food saver discs to try.
Multi-purpose Cleaner
What you get
A bottle of super concentrated multi-purpose cleaner, which makes up to 80 bottles of cleaning spray! What a money saver as well as being kind to the environment. It’s antibacterial with no harsh chemicals and can be used wherever there is cleaning to do. You also get an empty spray bottle to make it up in.

Simple set up
All you need to do is put in between half and two capfuls of the cleaner into the spray bottle and top up with water and that’s it!

What I liked
- The fact you get so many bottles of cleaner out of one lot of cleaner is amazing
- Kind to the environment
- Bottle is fully recyclable
- Not tested on animals
- Refreshing lemon smell
- They support the charity Water for Kids
- Made in the UK
- Cleaned effectively
- Can be used anywhere
- The spray bottle sprays a nice fine mist that gets good coverage
Any drawbacks?
The only drawback I found was that when you make up the spray it foams up quite a lot like a fizzy drink so you can’t always fill right to the top.
Food Saver Discs
What you get
I was intrigued by these! They are little paper discs with an ingredient inside that helps keep your fruit and veg fresher for longer by absorbing the ethylene gas that fruit and veg give off when they ripen. I got four discs in my pack, there’s a space to write the date you put it in and you replace them every 3 months.

I’ve put one in my fruit bowl and one in my salad drawer in the fridge, I’ll update this post when I’ve had time to evaluate the results! I’m making sure the fruit bowl is away from a certain baby though…

What I liked
- Easy to use
- Eco-friendly
- Saves food waste
- Lasts a long time
Any drawbacks?
They’re not safe to eat so you need to keep them away from children and animals!
I hope you enjoyed reading my review, I’m really excited about their offer, I’ll be adding to my Ecoegg prducts this Saturday, I hope you’ll join me! Let me know what you get!
Disclosure: I received these products for free in return for my honest and open review.

The fridge discs are great, I’ve used them before. I love the idea of the concentrated liquid, so space saving as well!
