My Fairy Garden Fairy Flowerpot Review

Phoebe is a fan of the My Fairy Garden series from Interplay, she falls for the adverts all the time on the few occasions we watch channel 5’s milkshake, so getting the chance to review the Fairy Flowerpot made me a supermum in her eyes. We have our own little ‘Fairy Garden’ in our front garden, so extending it with the flowerpot makes the magic last longer.

What you get with the kit

A fairy with her own little booklet with her name and what she likes – Phoebe loves this, ours is called Blossom, she loves spring and it’s pink and pretty, she tells visitors all about her new fairy. You also get the flowerpot with the door you can open and fit the fairy (sorry, Blossom) into her ‘house,’ plus some seeds to grow. You have to supply your own compost! Once we get round to planting them, I think they’re mustard seeds, I’ll put it either on her window sill and then maybe in the garden eventually.

Our thoughts

It’s made of plastic, as to be expected, I’d prefer it in terracotta (although that may break easily) or higher quality plastic, it’s quite lightweight, but I like the fact that you have seeds to plant with it to encourage a learning experience. Phoebe’s really pleased with it, so that’s the main thing. It’s priced at £9.99 but may vary according to the supplier, probably a bit pricey for what you physically get, but with the packaging and the fairy door concept, it makes up for it.

Disclosure: we received the fairy flowerpot free of charge for my honest review, all opinions are my own.
