Having a garden is for many the achievement of their life as proud homeowners and, often, their choice of garden says a lot about who they are. After all, different gardens create different impressions and meet the expectations of different people. But, at a time where it is so easy to buy a bunch of fake flowers in your favourite shop, it becomes essential to be able to create a garden that will blow a wind of positivity into your life. Is there any better sense of positivity than love? Is there any better feeling in the world? As there probably isn’t, here are a few tips to set your romantic garden that will make you feel good and happy each time you look at it!

Full Dramatic Settings With Accessories

A romantic garden starts with a dramatic setting that leaves room for light and positive feelings. In short, this is where you help your garden to become romantic with the addition of a few touches that are universally connected to romance and love. For a start, the use of little statues in a garden can help set up the scene, as long as you make sure to use angels and cherubs instead of garden gnomes! Then, the presence of a pond adds a soothing element to any garden, giving it a fairytale feel! Yet, do remember that Pond Liners are an essential for any pond as they will keep the water clean and ensure that your pond remain full. Last, but not least, the addition of a little gate and a protected sitting area will maximize the sensation of intimate space in your garden. If you have children, remember safety first.

Essential Furniture And Fence Care For Romance

Once you have added the necessary accessories, it is time to give your garden and its furniture the care they need to appeal to your romantic side. If you have picked a wooden fence, you could consider adding playful colours to it to create an almost Victorian ambiance. Also if you do paint your furniture and fences, do make sure to use paint that is suitable for outdoor use as it could get easily damaged by the first rain. Additionally, you could add a varnish coat that will act as a protection against the weather. Don’t hesitate to go a little wild with the décor, by painting large flowers on your fence, or purchasing elegant metal chairs that give it a rustic side.

The Vegetation That Says Love Me

Nothing says romance better than roses, therefore the addition of scented climbing roses will certainly have a positive impact in your romantic garden! A peaceful and positive garden will tend to have fruit trees, such as cherry or apple trees, that will bloom beautifully in season and share their delicate scent around. You can also keep the fruits for yummy jams and pies! The addition of scented herbs and plants will complete the idyllic picture with a lavender bush or even cooking herbs such as thyme or rosemary. Remember that love is nothing but a chemical reaction: So help to recreate it by playing with delicate smells and wonderful colours for a garden fit for all your most romantic escapes!
