Give it to me now! Instant effects Lip, Lash and Eyes put to the test

Is anything really instant? I test out the claims of Instant effects Lip plumper, Lash volumiser and Eye lift.

No one wants to wait for anything these days, and even more so when it comes to looking good. We all love a quick fix, don’t we ladies? I was intrigued to try out and review the Instant effects triple attack of Lip, Lash and Eyes to see if they could live up to the claim.

The lip plumper promises to instantly plump your lips (well, two minutes, but that’s instant enough). I like my lips, they’re nice and full anyway, all I tend to do with them is a bit of vaseline in the morning and sometimes lipstick. This is a clear lip gloss with a pump action and brush application so you can control the amount that goes on. It glides on smoothly and feels nice on, not sticky and it doesn’t tingle. I like the effects you get from it, here you can see that it does actually plump up your lips – my husband commented that they looked good, kissable in fact!

After

Well, my lips look nice and hydrated if anything! I like the way it feels, nice and silky smooth, and it gave me confidence thinking my lips looked nice and luscious. Next for the Instant Lash Volumiser. I have pathetic short straight lashes, so anything that helps me is good. It’s a mascara style application, a clear gel that goes on your lashes prior to mascara being applied. The first time I tried, I didn’t let it dry properly before applying mascara, so I’d say wait the full 2 minutes before applying your mascara – I use Benefit mascara ‘They’re Real.’ The eye on the left as you’re looking at it has the lash volumiser on it. They look more separated and less clumpy, maybe a little longer, so I’ll definitely keep using this when I’m wearing make up. I also tried out the Instant eye lift, in the vain hope that it could do something about the eye bags caused by a child that doesn’t sleep interspersed with bouts of insomnia! The eye on the right has had the serum applied, it does feel plumper after use, I noticed an effect on the look and feel. I think it would be good to use for a night out, or when you want a bit of a lift on a bad day! Excuse the eyebrows, they’re in need of some attention!

The eye on the left has the lash volumiser on, both have mascara applied, on the right, eye lift

In summary, I think if you’re looking for a little boost to go with your make up without turning to harsh chemicals or cosmetic surgery, then they do live up to the claims.
