Passwords are a crucial part of securing your company’s online accounts. Whether it’s your email, social media, or work accounts, they must be strong and unique to keep your information safe. If one password can be hacked, you can count on your employees and customer privacy going through the window.

Encryption is vital in keeping your employee’s privacy safe from cyber attacks. You can also implement a role-based system to ensure that only the people who need to have access to certain types of information have it. In addition, you should remind your employees about proper device use and data privacy practices. Emphasise to them that it’s important never to open confidential files on a personal device and regularly wipe out private data.
Don’t Share Information
Nowadays, companies love showing off their culture on LinkedIn, but that can draw some challenges. Sure, having that strong bond where your employees can lift each other up is great, but it does mean that privacy comes at a risk. Some companies make their employees have social media profiles, like LinkedIn.
These will also take images (like group photos) and tag their employees. Business pages tend to need more privacy editing (encouraging the opposite), and you can expect this to show too much information about your employees already. Ideally, try to find a balance between privacy and notoriety
