It’s week 5 of my Thinking Slimmer programme (see week 1, week 2, week 3,), I’m feeling lighter and healthier, and I’ve started exercising again which feels great. For those of you who don’t know, Thinking Slimmer is an audio digital download called Slimpod, straight to your phone via an app that you listen to once a day. It is really relaxing and uses psychology and suggestion to retrain your brain into literally thinking yourself slim! It’s not a diet so it’s no quick fix, but trust me it does help. With the 12 week gold programme you also get the chillpod to help you relax and the fitpod to motivate you to exercise, plus you keep the pods for life so they’re always on hand to listen to. They’re only 9 minutes long and easily fit into your routine. You also get e-mail support, a phonecall from the owner, Sandra to help talk through any issues you have with food and access to the Slimpod Facebook club which has other members to chat to – this really makes a difference to motivation and support.
I was so pleased I made it out for a run again, I used to do a lot of running and have even competed in an obstacle race, but lost my mojo after having Daniel. My eldest William kept me motivated although we did get side-tracked making this video!
