With the recent heatwave sparking barbecues across the country, the summer just on the horizon looking like a hot one, and the kids school holidays now just around the corner it’s, believe it or not, once again time to plan a budget and kid friendly family summer adventure.
No doubt, like me, you’re finding it difficult to compete with the growing number of extortionate attractions while the kids pester you about everything (especially Peppa pig world, numerous soft play attractions) not to mention all those ice creams! Fortunately, 101 of the best of British bloggers, have put together this super helpful ebook. Made with the budget conscious parent in mind, the book is compiled of hundreds of activities, destinations and days out each of which has been tested by a blogger just like myself and is a personal budget friendly recommendation straight from the heart.
My suggestion for the book was Tonbridge Castle. I wrote…
My children love the mound, they run up the zig zag path to the top and feel like the king of the castle when they get there! Then they go down and start again… You can pay to look round the castle with an audio tour if you like, but I find there’s enough outdoor fun to keep them busy.
Let me know if you have a destination favourite from the ebook!
