We’ve been sent one of the new Bratz dolls to review, her name is Jade, and she’s a music fan!  She comes with headphones shaped like cat ears, a lips shaped brush and her own little smart phone!  Phoebe was so excited, we filmed a little video of us unboxing the doll, William now loves it when I say I’m going to do a video and wanted to be involved, doll or no doll!  He is definitely a youtube star in the making…

We loved answering the questions and coming up with the song choices, although I have a feeling that “Let it go,” might already feature on the playlist!

The doll is fully poseable, you can tilt her head too.  She has long black hair with a green streak in it, which Phoebe was quite taken with.  We found that the best place to keep her phone was tucked into her dungarees.  She has rather large platform shoes, a bit like the trainers I had in the late ’90s.  What goes around comes around.

I discovered a bit more about her personality on the Bratz website:

Personality: Jade is a true trendsetter. Quirky and confident, she loves a challenge in fashion design, skateboarding, and surfing. Jade makes a statement just by being who she is.

Nickname: Kool Kat

Motto: Try Everything Twice

Hobbies: Mix ‘n’ matching outfits and creating looks with her deconstructive fashion choices. Trying any new sport that gets her adrenaline rushing. The more extreme, the better.

Spirit Animal: Cat

If you’d like to get your hands on the latest Bratz collection, they are available from The Entertainer, Toys R Us, Argos, Smyths, Very, Asda and Tesco.

Disclosure: we were gifted the doll in return for our open and honest review
