It is very important to save more than you spend as on the long run the more you have spent the lesser you would have in hand. If you play smart, you would be able to save money even just on daily things such as:
Immediate cash advance
Many banks offer their customers several offers and discount once they make a card with them, these offers and discount can be very usual for a customer as some discounts help them save money on things, which are usually a major expense. They offer immediate cash advance.
Stop Collecting
If you have a room full of things that you have bought and never used it is time to sell it and stop hoarding. Shopping is a temptation for everyone but you do not realise that so much of money is spent into shopping things that you may never use.
DIY
There are many things that you can learn to do yourself rather than paying for it. You can start off with small things such as making a gift for someone yourself rather than going out and buying it. Learning to change a car tyre rather than going to the garage to fix it. These make a difference in the end.
Meal Plans
Cook for the whole week in one day, it is not only cheap but it is a healthy way to live as well. You will not have to spend money on buying food out and will be able to have full control of what you eat and the expense can be reduced as much as you would like as you are going to be the one to cook.
Public Transportation
It is the absolute cheapest way to commute and if you live in an area, where public transport is available then there is no point of spending so much on gas every single day when you could just hop on a bus and pay half of what you usually do to commute.
Housing
Where you live is one of the biggest expense and it is important to be wise with your rent. Some places are overly priced due to the location and are as small as a shoe. It is important to not only choose a suitable area, a good space but mainly an affordable price. Rents usually stay the same for however long your contract is so once you select an apartment it’s a commitment you will have to stick with so it must suit with your budget otherwise all you will be able to afford is your house and nothing else besides that. This is where you must play smart and get a house, which is within your budget. See Lisa’s notebook for more money-making tips.
