Since we got our dog, Archie, walks have become a daily occurrence. We like nothing better than tramping through the woods near our house in all weathers. I need to wear a jacket that is lightweight to keep up with him – he’s a very active working cocker spaniel – and that can keep me warm on cold and wet days. We’re heading into cooler weather now and my choice of coat is very important to me.

Can you really wear it all year round?
Won’t it start to smell? That was my question, especially if you’re wearing it all the time. The great thing about graphene is that it is antimicrobial and completely hypoallergenic. Gamma not only protects you from germs and allergens but will remain odour free for life. It’s machine washable and won’t crease, so it’s easy to maintain. Words that are bliss to me, I’m all about the easy life. I have so much going on in my life with three children, a dog, a cat, two jobs plus a house renovation that I need things that are easy to maintain. I also hate ironing with a passion.
There are no fewer than 10 pockets, one of them being hidden, so plenty of room for doggy paraphernalia. We have to take two tennis balls, poop bags, lead and whistle out with us on our walks so pockets are essential. It’s great not to have to take a bag with me.
