Lee Stafford CoCo LoCo Curling Tongs Review

I have dead straight hair and there’s not much I can do to keep it curly. If I spray loads of hairspray on it and use curling tongs I can just about get the effect I want. I love the ringlet effect you get. Today I’m reviewing these gorgeous pink hair curling tongs from Lee Stafford. I’ve actually met Lee Stafford, and he has actually touched and styled my hair. If anybody remembers the TV series Celebrity Scissorhands, they did a special series and I went on it. It took me ages to grow my hair out but I had great fun. I was a bit heavier then and my hair was darker. I think it was 2008?

Anyway, I digress, onto the curling tongs. The ceramic barrel of the tongs is infused with coconut oil for silky soft hair. They heat up quickly to 200°C, and they have a safety stand with a clip. I love the pinky rose gold coloured handle with hot pink on/off switch. The barrel is nice and long, which is great for my long hair. To use it, separate the hair into sections, then lift the lever up, put the end of the section of hair in, then twirl the rest up the barrel, hold it for about 30 seconds, then release.

The rubber tip, although it makes it look very phallic, it does help when you’re twirling the hair round, so you don’t burn your fingers. The stand and the length of it means that when you put it down when on, the end of it touches the surface you’re using. All in all, a great styling aid, I love the packaging and I’ll be using it when I want to change things up. You can buy it in stores or on Amazon for around £25.
