We all want a little bit of luxury in our lives. There is no better way to feel like you’re an A star celebrity is to throw an amazing party. Whether it is for a birthday or just a special occasion, there is usually some reason to celebrate. Perhaps you have a wedding anniversary, or a christening or perhaps a you’ve just bagged the job of your dreams, a party can be the perfect opportunity to show off a little and enjoy yourself. It’s not always about overdoing something, as that can appear tacky, but keeping it classy, yet fun and imaginative is always going to be a winner, and you can create a party that your friends and family will always remember!
Whether you want it low key or really glamorous, you can always make your party first class. If you’re into the classic British parties, perhaps you have older guests who don’t want the hustle and bustle of a loud party, try an afternoon tea party. If you want something a little more bold, then read on for some ideas on how to create something sensational.
It’s all about the decor
Get your decor on point and pick a theme. That is usually how the celebrities plan their parties, whether it’s a 40’s theme, or maybe a pink theme, even a film theme, there are so many ideas, and it’s a great way to create a memorable party. Go on Pinterest for some great ideas and feel inspired by all the quirky cool decor out there. Maybe you want to add some balloons to your party, maybe you could fill them with confetti or maybe a little gift inside that they can retrieve when they pop the balloon.
Attention to detail
Sometimes it is the little things that have the greatest impact. Why not make personalised goodie bags for your guests, or even have something different like an ice sculpture or party photo booth hire which will look incredibly VIP. Add little extra touches to your sofas and chairs, with cushions, make it cosy and luxurious. Create mood lighting as this is always a good way to make somewhere feel first class! Set up a dummy roulette table, so people can have a little fun with some safe and responsible gambling. This would be a particular favourite if you’re looking to do a Vegas themed party, perhaps for a 21st birthday.
Food and drink
Create themed food, unicorn toast is definitely all the rage at the minute and it looks pretty. Or maybe you want waffles and tasty treats with a chocolate fountain, as everyone usually gravitates towards free food. For drink, have lots of options, from punch bowls for people to help themselves and glasses of prosecco with fruit. Perhaps you could even hire someone to offer a cocktail masterclass so you can make and create your own fun cocktails! Cakes always go down well, so why not look at some fancy cupcakes to match the occasion.
