I have been testing out the little grippers socks on my tribe over the past few weeks, in particular seeing how they wear and wash. I chose the sports socks for my football mad 6 year old son, the white school socks for my 4 year old daughter and the baby socks for the little one – he is pulling all of his socks off at the moment and eating them so this is the ultimate challenge for him!
What are Little Grippers?
They’re a range of socks that have an invisible silicone layer on the inside of the sock cuff to keep them up all day long. They come in a range of colours and styles to choose from, browse their range at the Little Grippers site.
I couldn’t resist the cute baby blue socks with stag design, the others were a more practical white knee length school sock and navy blue sports sock:
My daughter was very pleased with her school socks, she currently loves all things school as she’s just started this year. She loves the little Gecko on the soles and my son’s class is called Geckos so they’re perfect!
They stayed up as promised all day and she had no complaints about the fit or comfort. They are nice good quality socks that will keep legs warm this winter. I put them through a normal wash and they came out nice and clean with the soft silicone band intact. They guarantee it’s effectiveness for the lifetime of the sock and they can also be tumble dried (I don’t have a tumble dryer at the moment, it’s on my wishlist).
After washing and on wearing again – excuse the chocolatey mouth!

My 6 year old son started football last year and this term he is taking it quite seriously with the proper kit and everything!
he wore his to football practice and he had no issues with the socks. They’ve come through the wash well too. Here he is before getting all muddy!

Baby D looks very cute in his socks, he’s crawling around now and standing up so the little stars grips on the soles are coming in very handy for him and stop him sliding around. He hasn’t pulled them off – yet.
