Now that pretty much everyone has some sort of on demand TV service, there always seems to be something worth binge watching. Today I’m sharing what I’m watching, plus my top TV picks.
Love Island USA
I stumbled across it, and having watched the UK version, I wondered how it would translate. Turns out, it’s exactly the same dynamics. There’s the couple loved up from day 1, the one that always seems to lose out, the dumpings, the games. It’s oh so addictive and pretty people. It’s filmed in Fiji in the wet season – so much rain!
I’ve seen them all countless times but this time I’m watching it with new eyes with my 10 year old son. He absolutely loves it! I think because it covers issues safely and in a funny way.
My husband it’s watching this one, it’s about a Mexican drug cartel and based on a true story. He likes the gritty drama.
Strictly come dancing
I have been a superfan since season 1. I watch it takes two and the weekend shows, plus I’m in a Facebook group! Definitely binge watching.
I’m a business woman at heart and an entrepreneur (my blog is my business). I always look forward to the apprentice so I can be an armchair critic, although I know it’s difficult in real life when you’re under pressure and have a team of go getters around you.
Ru Paul’s drag race UK
There’s a bit of a reality theme going here I know! I’ve watched all the US shows. I adore the outfits and personas they create. I hoped the UK would be able to live up to the US show, so far so good.
It’s the Q series and it’s just so relaxing, calming and informative to watch, and always makes me smile.
Have I got news for you
A brand new series started this week and it’s what I need right now to make sense and light of our troubled political times. I’ve taken a bit of a step back from the news because I get annoyed at the state of parliament and the amount of money and effort that’s gone into the ‘B’ word. This is some light relief.
I’ll be looking forward to watching The X factor celebrity tonight, it looks fun. What’s your favourite thing to watch right now? I need a good documentary or drama to watch to balance out all the fluff TV I watch! We’ve not watched one episode of Downton Abbey, and we plan on starting that soon from the beginning, which will be nice.
