I’m getting serious about blogging, and I’m often talking about it when I’m out and about and when I’m doing my work as a Midwife. Apart from talking about it, or writing my website down on a scrap of paper for people, I’ve been looking at getting business cards. I was contacted by the lovely people at Aura Print to review their colour core business cards and this seemed the perfect opportunity to get some made to suit my needs.
Business card online design
They help you through the design process, or you can send them your own design. I sent them the information I wanted to be included and my blog header photo. They sent me back a proof and I made a couple of small changes and we were set. I then got a lovely big box in the post which was pretty special.
They are really thick and luxurious, I chose pink as my accent colour, which shows in the bright circle and the colour core.
Using business cards as a professional blogger
I love the fact I can keep some with me and whether I’m chatting at the school run, at a baby group, at work or at a press event I can pass over my details knowing it’s not something flimsy, I think this makes a difference when you want to come across as professional and a serious business; it will be difficult for the person receiving the card to throw it away. When they see it, they’ll be reminded of our conversation and can look up my blog and services. These cards will help you stand out from the rest.
