Although technically Phoebe doesn’t need a backpack until year 3, she is allowed to bring one to school in year 2. She wants to be just like her friends! She’s still heavily in the princess phase, and given the choice that’s what she’ll go for. I promise I don’t sway her choices. She’s thrilled with her new bag addition. This particular one is a brand new design from Sambro and has only just come out. It will be available in stores soon. Phoebe is all kitted out now with school gear, she even has extra pencils, rubbers and notebooks that came with the bag. I like the fact it has a water bottle holder outside the bag which prevents any spills from getting everything wet. The only thing is it’s just on one side so it makes the bag lopsided when there’s a full water bottle in it.
The design is what every girly girl likes, pink with princesses on and the slogan, ‘Dream, Wish, Believe’ on it. The material of the bag is a little thin and I would prefer a lining to it to make it more sturdy. I like the fact the princess front is wipe clean, and it’s reinforced design. The design is modern and clean. There is only one zip, which finishes the water bottle side, so when you have a bottle in there, the zip can be a bit tricky to get. If your child is into Disney princesses, then it’s a good mid priced bag for them, and a good size for them to carry and has enough room inside to fit their bits and pieces in. When you’re shopping around for school supplies, generally get the non branded items, they’re cheaper and a lot of the time better quality. Also get more than you need, they lose and swap stuff which is so annoying. Label everything too.
How are you getting on with back to school preparations? Or is it first time for you? Any questions, give me a shout.
Disclosure: we received the backpack free of charge for this post. All opinions my own.
