My husband likes to escape to keep fit at the gym and goes there a couple of times a week. He has an old injury that needs to be kept well oiled. He’s fussy about his gym clothes, he likes those T shirts that are ventilated, with the little holes in – do you know the ones I mean? He also likes his shorts to be short but not too short. And they say women are fussy!
We took a virtual look round the D W Sports website to get a feel for the type of man they’re appealing to. They have categories for new in, sports, men, women and juniors, but the site I would say is geared towards men. It has a red and black theme and lots of images of alpha males doing various sports activities. It has a clear layout so if you had in mind you wanted a particular brand of trainers for example, you’d clearly know where to go, or how to search for it. When you order, you can click and collect to your local DW sports store, or get it delivered. We had our items delivered, they came in a couple of days. If you need to return anything you order you can do so at no extra cost within 28 days. If your order comes to over £39.99 then you get free UK delivery.
He chose the blue Nike sports top and the Puma black shorts, which you can choose your length – perfect. He’s happy with the quality and fit.
It’s not just clothes and shoes either, they also sell all sorts of sports equipment for both children and adults including fitness trackers. On the whole I like the simple, clean feel to the website, it’s clear to navigate and there is a wide variety and selection of branded and non branded goods.
