Roblox Toy Collectable Figures

Roblox Toy Collectable Figures

I’ve talked about Roblox before, worrying whether it was safe. Maybe you’ve heard of it, or your child is pestering you to play. If you’d like the lowdown about it and some of the current fears and my answers, check this post out. I continue to let my nearly 9 year old play it as part of his screen time. He has a free account, I never buy Robux (the game’s currency you can buy) and he can’t answer or send messsages. The chat function is disabled. He plays in the living room with us present. I’ve never seen anything inappropriate in the game. I think like all interactive online games you can get incidences of grooming, when they are allowed to chat and exchange messages anonymously. That’s a danger a lot of games and forums present. I believe the game itself isn’t harmful, and he’s learnt a lot about business and strategy from it.

Anyway, today we’re looking at some of the Roblox merchandise. We’ve previously had some of the toy figures before, we did an unboxing video about them you can watch here. This time I thought I’d do a quick blog post to show you the figures in detail. They’ve introduced a new ‘celebrity’ toy range, including Top Roblox Runway Model, Pixel Artist who comes with his paint palette and easel, and Roblox Celebrity Blind Figure Assortment, which come in plastic boxes and you don’t know which one you’re going to get.

They include lots of accessories that you can mix and match. They come apart easily so you can switch everything up. My favourite character is the cat business man in his pinstriped suit and briefcase. I’ve no idea what his role is in the game, but my son does. He also recognised the T-shirt saying Free hugs. The best part for William was the virtual codes. You can redeem these codes in the Roblox game and you don’t know what you will get, it will be an item of clothing or an accessory for your virtual character. He does like the figures too but I don’t think he’s going to become a massive collector. We’ll see.

I like the fact that the blind boxes are sturdy, stackable, and you can put all the bits in for storage. If you get six of them you can spell out Roblox with them for a bit of fun. Who’s your favourite?
